Man I was craving pizza after being on the 21 Day Fix plan for over a week. Enter in the 21 Day Fix approved pizza recipe! We normally eat pizza once a week or so, and I could hardly hold myself back. I am glad we were able to find a healthy option.
This 21 Day Fix approved pizza recipe was a delicious, easy to prepare, alternative to the greasy pizza you might normally be tempted to eat. I made my own wheat pizza crust since I couldn’t find any prepared at the local grocery stores, we will definitely be adding this to our 21 Day Fix approved monthly recipe rotation!

Ingredients
- 1 package whole wheat pizza dough 16 ounce at room temperature
- 2 tsp olive oil extra virgin
- 1/4 cup tomato sauce no sugar added
- 1 cup mozzarella cheest shredded
- 1 medium tomato sliced
- 1/4 cup whole basil leaves torn into pieces

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450F.
- Stretch pizza dough using your fingertips to 1/2 inch thickness. You may need to let it sit (relax) for 5 minutes and then continue to stretch.
- Drizzle oil over dough. using a pastry brush to spread to the edges
- Spread tomato sauce evenly over dough, leaving 1/4 inch border.
- Layer with cheese, tomato, and basil.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
